Album in-4 gr. (mm. 343x430), mz. pelle coeva con ang. (restaurata), dorso a cordoni con tit. oro, piatti in tela, pp. 104 (numerate e stampate al solo recto), riccamente illustrato da 18 schizzi in seppia, 15 belle tavole a colori e “several other general hunting illustrations”. Vi sono raffigurate scene relative alla caccia alla volpe, luoghi, monumenti, etc., oltre a 12 razze di segugi, quali: Morpeth, Tynedale, Braes of Derwent, North Durham, South Durham, Cleveland, Eskdale, Pytchley, Pytchley (Woodland), Tredegar’s, Pembrokeshire, Devon and Somerset Straghounds. L’A. di questo bel volume è “John Charlton ( 1849-1917), britannique. Peintre de batailles, scènes de genre, portraits, animaux, paysages, aquarelliste”. (Cfr. Benezit,III, p. 503). Ben conservato.
